Bethelsdorp accused duo found guilty for Armed Response Officer’s murder

Two Bethelsdorp men were found guilty in the Port Elizabeth High court on Monday 31 October on charges of murder and aggravated robbery. Charlton Jackson (27) and Fabian Bowers (36) will know their fate on 2 November 2016 when they will be sentenced. Drugs and related paraphernalia were found in Nautilus Street in Bluewater Bay by a pair of local security officers on Wednesday 14 January 2015. Ladder thief caught in the act in Summerstrand

A thief was caught red-handed at a property in Summerstrand on Friday 25 July. At around 12h30, ADT Security Senior Response Officer Garth Hammond was dispatched to investigate an alarm signal from an address in Kuruman Kloof. Upon arrival, he inspected the premises, found a suspect in the yard and apprehended him. Three suspects are nabbed thanks to the vigilance and diligence of a local security officer

Three suspects were caught red-handed as they tried to steal a vehicle parked in Main Road, Walmer on Tuesday 25 February. At about 13h40, a white bakkie aroused the suspicions of an ADT Security Armed Response Officer (ARO) who was on patrol in Main Road. The officer wrote down its registration number and stopped at the Walmer Police Station where it was confirmed that the bakkie had earlier been reported stolen.
