Student response to resumption of academic year at #NMMU

The reaction by the NMMU FMF to the announcement by the NMMU that the academic year would resume on Monday 10 October (World Mental Health Day) was swift:

The NMMU FMF said; “NMMU, as had [sic] been the case in most instances, does not take us seriously! They continue to undermine us and we’ve proven this once more with their recent SMS’s saying that classes [will] resume [on] Monday. As such, we the people’s Management want to reassure students that the institution will be shut down till [sic]. Thank you very much and we shall meet at the picket lines!”
