Recorded in early 1986 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. There was still plenty of steam about, though mostly then confined to freight working and shunts. Here one Sunday morning we have a quick look around the shed whilst huge numbers of locos slumber, then move on to the city’s station where various class 15AR 4-8-2 locos go about their business as station pilots and dock shunters.
