Stadium Ticket Office to Move

5 December 2014 By Alan Straton

On Monday 8 December 2014 the NMB stadium’s ticket office will be moving to the Imatu Building (Eastern Province Ruby Union offices) situated on Prince Alfred Road.

“The community plays a vital role in the success of the stadium. It is therefore our duty as stadium management to keep our stakeholders (internal and external) informed of changes affecting them. Consumers can expect the same friendly and effective service from our staff,” said Chantal du Pisani, stadium management company CEO.

“While this decision involves taking a number of factors into consideration – we believe in placing our loyal supporters and making the ticket office more accessible for them. This is part of the many projects that we are planning.” continued du Pisani

With the Cell C Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens coming to Port Elizabeth, there will be an increase in the number of sales personnel assisting with the issuing of tickets and/or queries.

“With the domestic Rugby season having drawn to a close, it is now time to start planning for the year ahead, and therefore we would like to draw stakeholders’ attention to the fact that suites and season tickets are available for sale and, in the case of existing suite and season ticket holders, for renewal for 2015,” added Charl Crous, Chief Executive of the EP Rugby Union.

There have been several new developments during the past year, the most exciting being that the stadium has become another anchor tenant richer, with PSL soccer club Chippa United having moved to Port Elizabeth and adopting the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium as its home ground.

Should consumers have any queries regarding soccer, rugby or the Sevens tournament tickets, they can contact the ticket office on 041 408 8946. The Ticket office trading hours are from 8h00 to 16h45, Monday to Friday.
