Springboks open training session on Monday

By

Springbok supporters in the Eastern Cape will be able to see Siya Kolisi and his team mates in action on Monday when the Springboks host an open training session at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

From 15h00 to 17h00 the Springboks will hold an open training session at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium with a Springbok fan engagement at the stadium starting at 16h30.

Bok supporters will get an early glimpse of their rugby heroes when the Springbok squad will be involved in a live training session on Heritage Day, which is a public holiday.

South Africa and Australia clash at the NMB Stadium on Saturday 29 September in the penultimate round of this year’s Castle Lager Rugby Championship. A capacity crowd is expected at the coastal venue.

Meanwhile, 17 Springboks arrived in PE on Thursday evening while the rest of the players will join the squad on Sunday, following their Currie Cup and provincial duties. The Springbok match-23 for the Test will be named in Thursday.
