We Talk

Siyathetha is a Port Elizabeth based Public Relations Company.

Siyathetha’s approach is to help the client first identify communication needs, and then to develop innovative solutions. It is a process which begins within the company or organisation itself, and then moves on to customers, investors or the broader community – depending on the group which needs to be informed and influenced.

Measurable projects are developed around the needs and goals of the client, in order to facilitate a systematic approach to communication.

Ed Richardson
Ed Richardson

Headed by Ed Richardson and blessed with talented and vibrant staff it has always been a pleasure dealing with them.

Ed is the managing director and brain behind the Siyathetha brand and is rumoured to be one of the most effective weapons of mass communication in the Eastern Cape.

Before “emigrating” to the Eastern Cape, Ed worked on trade publications, radio and television, working his way in each case from reporter up to management level. He also spent three years as a senior account executive for a major public relations company. He is one of the few communications specialists in the country with an in-depth knowledge of print, radio, television and the Internet. He has been closely involved with, and has helped champion, the use of the Internet as a business and communication tool virtually since its inception in South Africa.

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
