#ShareTheBay is a fun, interactive and exciting initiative launched by Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism (NMBT), encouraging locals and visitors to explore Nelson Mandela Bay this Summer Season, experiencing the treasures in and around the city, with the aim of creating a positive destination image, where local travellers have the opportunity to serve as home-grown ambassadors of the city, by sharing their experiences (posts and pictures) via social media and interactions with current and potential visitors, utilising platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the NMBT website.

Stand the chance of winning fantastic prizes by sharing your experience in The Bay on instagram and twitter using #ShareTheBay and #MyNelsonmandelabay. Win a stay for two at one of the destination’s fabulous accommodation facilities inclusive of breakfast. In addition Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism will supply two 5 in 1 Nelson Mandela Bay Pass cards that allow free and discounted entry into a variety of attractions and facilities in and around the Bay. You could choose from sandboarding, scuba diving, wildlife and more.

The campaign goes hand in hand with the Nelson Mandela Bay Pass, a smart access card, which gives visitors free admission to an array of activities and attractions in the Bay. Among the many options to experience are: beachfront boat cruises, where visitors can enjoy up close encounters with the iconic bottlenose dolphins, Waterfront Boat Tours, sandboarding adventures at Sundays River, Addrenalin Addo zip lining, Open Sky Entertainment Park for the kids and many more activities, suitable for the entire family. The pass also offers exclusive discounts and specials at selected shopping facilities, activities and entertainment, offering users flexibility, convenience, variety and savings. In addition, NMBT also offers a unique 5 in 1 pass, which is valid for a period of 3 months and includes access or discounts to any 5 attractions and activities advertised.

The pass also includes a free guide to all the offers available, ensuring users receive valuable information about the products they are exploring. Utilizing the pass is a simple and seamless process, where users simply plan their trip using their guide, present their NMB Pass on arrival and enjoy the benefits.
