Commander van den Berg explains a little bit more about what the public can expect of the SANDF’s night shooting demonstration on 18 February 2016 from 19h30 in the Kings Beach Area.
There will be several aircraft flying overhead, followed by weapons firing from the Fan Park – Military Exhibition Area – as well as weapons firing from two Navy ships anchored seaward of Kings Beach.
Weapons that will be firing will include: G1 Gun, Ratel 90, 60mm Mortar, 81 mm Mortar, 120mm Mortar, G5 Gun, SS 77 and 40mm MGL.
