A MyPE Salem, Eastern Cape selected video for you:

A landmark court ruling on land redistribution could redefine the face of land-claims in South Africa. The Salem land-claim is the largest such case settled in South Africa to date. By this – a large part of the historic settler town in the Eastern Cape will be returned to the descendants of the isiXhosa people who lived there before the settlers. With an appeal to the Supreme Court in the works we investigate how the ruling affects the historic landscape by speaking to a one of the claimants.
