This weekend, Saturday 1 February, Democratic Alliance (DA) Leader, John Steenhuisen MP, will take the “Real State of the Nation Tour” to Uitenhage and Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape to continue engaging and interacting with South Africans, listening to their daily challenges and struggles in a quest to assess the real state of our nation.
Life is getting harder for the vast majority of South Africans – unemployment and poverty are rising, electricity and water supply is unstable, and people feel unsafe in their communities. Now is the time for bold, workable alternatives to stem this tide and help change lives for the better.
Steenhuisen will be joined by DA EC Provincial Leader Nqaba Bhanga, DA public representatives and activists at various stops.
- Uitenhage from 10:00 at 59 Mimosa Street, Uitenhage
- Mill Park, Port Elizabeth from 13:30 at the Mill Park Bowling Club, College Drive, Mill Park
