Proof – Danny Jordaan was at Council today

18 August 2016 By Alan Straton

He just didn’t make it into the Feathermarket Hall….

Danny Jordaan City Hall
I snapped this image of former Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality Executive Mayor Danny Jordaan as he was hustled away by his minders whom we all presume are doing their job for free now!.

True – the ANC and their supporters were completely conspicuous by their absence outside the Feather Market Hall before the start of the proceedings today.

True – the ANC elected to grandstand and arrive late.

True – the coalition government supporters at the entrance to the Feathermarket Hall were vocal towards their former political masters.

True – there was a bit of a crush at the entrance.

True – Danny turned back less than 5 metres from the entrance and wasn’t seen again.

Not True – that entrance was denied to the ANC members outside. They, as ordinary members of the public and NOT the official political masters have to now become used to being a little bit less privileged and standing in line like the rest of us!

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
