Some crazy people have made hay whilst the sun didn’t shine in Port Elizabeth – reports of canoeists and even rubber ducks playing on the swollen Baakens River have been made.

In the Eastern Cape, 80 percent of the province’s mountains are covered in snow.
Areas such as Barkley East and Jamestown in Northern Eastern Cape plummeted to zero degrees celcius.
In Port Elizabeth wet and cold conditions saw many residents being evacuated after flooding.
