Bloggers are mainly talking about the upcoming Ironman. Going through the reports of the Blue Bulls EP Kings clash I see that many of the blogs got the city in which the clash took place WRONG – many of them are reporting that the Blue Bulls beat the EP Kings 29-28 in Port Elizabeth on Saturday, well, I have news for them the game took place in PRETORIA on the Loftus Versfeld B Team this past Saturday. That makes the EP Kings result a little more palatable.
Look out for the little Optimist Dinghies on the sea this week until Thursday. Port Elizabeth and the Algoa Bay Yacht Club are hosting 30 of South Africa’s top U16 sailors in the 2011 Optimist Selections Regatta. The top 5 sailors will represent South Africa in the World Championships and the next 10 will represent South Africa in the African Championships.
