PetroSA Looting

6 November 2018 By Alan Straton

Dear MyPE

Regarding another Parastatal Parasitism & Paralysis (3P) case study, namely PetroSA, herein is my modest Open Source theorem:

About 70% of PetroSA shares should be sold to the efficiently-run and profitable parastatals like Mubadala Oil, Petrobras (Petroleum Brazil), Petronas (Petroleum Malaysia) and/or Gazprom (Petroleum Russia) in order to eliminate ANC Freemasonry (the Enrichment & Protection of ANC Congregants and Associates) and to ensure Glasnost (transparency and accountability in governmental matters).

These international oil giants would most-probably speed up the materialisation of the forever-planned Project Mthombo Oil Refinery within the Coega Special Economic Zone (SEZ) upon taking control of PetroSA.

As a matter of transparency and accountability, the South African government should insist on the building of Project Mthombo at Coega in its Memorandum of Understanding when relinquishing the controlling stake in PetroSA.

Privatisation or semi-privatisation is not as demonic as the voting madding crowd is made to believe by propagandists, because the tax of private companies goes to the fiscus, which in turn dispenses the freebies eg. Houses, Clinics, Roads etc. which the unemployed bumptiously demand.

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
