PE’s Stinky Tap Water

I live in Westering, Port Elizabeth.

Have you heard anything about the reason why our tap water has an overwhelming fermenting earthy smell, when drinking, it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, when the water is hot and when showering the smell gets to a point that it takes my breath away.

This as far as i know has affected Westering and Fairview, i don’t know people in other areas to ascertain if they are affected as well.

This water cannot be suitable for consumption. I have to buy bottled water now, which I have never done before, yet I am paying for water in my taps.
