Astra Primary School from South Africa also participated in the Big Squat on world toilet day. We were fortunate to have the Department of Water Affairs albeit the Sanitation Unit who joined us in the Big Squat. The attached photo is of the team squatting. They travelled approximately 3hours to Port Elizabeth to be part of this special experience. We have formed a partnership with the Sanitation Unit. They provided the school with various toilet equipment, eg. toilet brushes and buckets, soap, t-shirts, bandenas, posters, water bottles etc. It was such a wonderful experience having them in our presence.
