The recent media release regarding ColdZyme / ColdGuard demonstrating that it deactivates SARS-CoV-2 in vitro, based on preliminary results from a test conducted by an independent laboratory in the USA, has necessitated a review by the SAHPRA regarding information on the product provided to the generat public.

They have consequenfly requested that we withdraw all references to this announcement from the public domain, and we believe that this would be the correct and responsible action until such time as the review process has been completed.

We therefore request that you kindly remove all articles and or broadcast links emanating from this media release from MyPE.

We will issue further communication to the media and the public as soon as this technical matter has been finalised.
