The April Fools day exhibition scheduled to take place at the Red Location Museum today, 1 April 2011, has been moved to Vuyisile Mini Square in front of the City Hall to “maximise the exposure of this event to the people”.
Nelson Mandela Bay spokesperson, Ongama Mtimka, apologised for the late notification and urged the public to support this event which would showcase Municipal April Fools jokes and the rest of South Africa.
Entry is free and the exhibition will run from 08h00 to 15h00.
Editors Notes: I hope that the municipality realise that ‘service delivery’ and the ‘cash crisis’ do not fall under the umbrella of April Fools jokes. According to one of the exhibitors, Ms Lirpa Sloof, the April Fools exhibits promise to be quite entertaining.
