John Best to unveil safety and security plan
On Thursday 19 March 2020, Democratic Alliance (DA) Eastern Cape Provincial Leader, Cllr Nqaba Bhanga, will be conducting an oversight inspection at the Bethelsdorp Metro Police Station in Chatty, Port Elizabeth.
He will be joined by DA Nelson Mandela Bay Caucus Leader, Cllr Jonathan Lawack, and DA NMB Spokesperson on Safety and Security, Cllr John Best.
The DA and its coalition partners opened this state of the art metro police station while in government in 2017. The building was newly renovated and fully equipped to service the community.
Since the ANC-led coalition of corruption government took over the building has been vandalised and left in disrepair.
Cllr Best will also be presenting a 10 point plan to turn around the City’s safety and security directorate and ensure a safer environment for the people of the Metro.
The event starts at 10:00 am at the Bethelsdorp Metro Police Station at 20 Dullisear Street, Bethelsdorp, Port Elizabeth
