One More and then Popular Dive Fest will be 25 Years-Old

The 24th Wildside Dive Festival will take place from the Noordhoek Ski Boat Club on the weekend of 25 to 27 April 2020.

All funds raised will be donated to the ??NSRI.

The Dive Festival broke all records and established itself as South Africa’s top Dive Festival with 850 Dives Sold. 2020 will be the 24th Dive Festival since its inception in 1996.

The strength of the Dive Festival is based on the extent of its history & coverage package including:

  • 200 Dives for the 3 days and
  • An outstanding safety record

The Noordhoek Ski Boat Club intends to build the national and International elements of the festival, making it the “WINTER DIVE FESTIVAL” happening in Southern Africa.

Key to this growth are the following elements:

  1. To build the National element allowing growth, as well as a cultural exchange programme.
  2. To involve the local community and businesses in attracting friends and relatives to the festival and to build community pride.
  3. To produce an exciting 3 day diving programme that will attract divers from all over the world to our City as well as give those participating an amazing experience – with the goal of 900 dives
  4. To create an opportunity for tourism to promote events in the Nelson Mandela Bay area.
