Regrettably Nelson Mandela Bay finds itself in a political Circle of Chaos.
And citizens are AIMing to turn that Circle of Chaos into a Circle of Competence.
Our local political landscape is fraught with infighting, one upmanship and greed. We have have more Mayors in the past four years than steak dinners. Each successive political party that gains the reins attempts to impose their National Political will upon Council and the resistance to change is high.
As the seats and power changes all that is occurring is a vicious Circle of Chaos completely detrimental to Nelson Mandela Bay.
HOW do we rise above this and become a Circle of Competence?
We must elect leaders who promise to:
- Only make decisions based on one question; “Is this good for the long term future and prosperity of Nelson Mandela Bay?”
- Only vote and act based on; “What my constituents want for their area?”
- Be 100% Focused on Nelson Mandela Bay.
- Support any initiative that is good for Nelson Mandela Bay and their constituents – even if it goes against their party political line!
As a candidate Councillor for Ward 7 – THIS is what I promise to do.
