Nicky Roote – BWA Professional Category Winner

The Port Elizabeth Businesswomens Association recently recognised outstanding local businesswomen with awards in the corporate, professional, social entrepreneur, emerging entrepreneur and entrepreneur categories. These were awarded on 5 June 2012.

Glen Meyburgh from local Video Production House, Imagio filmed the nominees before the awards ceremony. The snippet below is one of those screened during the awards ceremony.

The winner in the Professional Category was Nicky Roote.

Nicky Roote is a UCT graduate who has owned her own Physiotherapy practice in Port Elizabeth since 2005. Her areas of special interest include sports injuries, orthopaedics and paediatric neurology.

The driving principles behind Nicky’s business are; personal care, service excellence and a commitment to being involved where the action is taking place. Nicky is a proud proponent of her profession and is involved in leadership at a provincial and national level within the South African Society of Physiotherapy.
