Nick Mallett on EP Kings

By

Former Springbok Coach, Nick Mallett spoke at the recent Leadership Conference 2014 hosted by Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber.

I received his permission to GoPro his presentation before “Mr Tell it like it is” went on stage we had a chat about the state of rugby and it was refreshing to hear him echo some of my thoughts around transformation – especially that we have started 20 years too late and that any players of colour that we develop are just ‘snatched away’ from the cradle of black rugby – Eastern Province.

Asked what he thought of the EP Kings, Mallett agreed that the Kings need to be one of the eventual SIX ONLY rugby unions ………

Listen to the video for Nick Mallett’s proposed plan for SARU and Rugby in general – maybe someone in power will agree with him? Or maybe the players will go on strike?
