New PR Agency Hits PE Streets

A new PR agency has launched with the aim to help businesses flourish using the power of the media.

Sapphire Street, based in Port Elizabeth, will look to focus on lifestyle products and services within the Eastern Cape.

The agency has hired established PR consultant Kimberley Nanson from the UK where she worked in top London PR agencies. Nanson brings international and big brand experience within the B2C sector to the agency as well as strong business acumen and creativity.

Nanson explained: “Essentially what we are doing is taking a back-to-basics approach, focusing on quality writing, effective media relations, strong strategy and spending time getting to know our clients and their sectors.

“South Africa has one of the most exciting PR scenes outside of the UK but there are few agencies, if any, within the Eastern Cape.”

Sapphire Street launches with a handful of retained clients and will be targeting further accounts across sectors including retail, tourism, interiors and law.
