Nelson Mandela Memorial Lecture And Table Of Hope Event

As part of the Nelson Mandela Bay July festivities the City of Nelson Mandela Bay close this inspirational month with the Nelson Mandela Memorial Lecture and Table of Hope Event.

As the city and the only metro that was fortunate to be granted the honour of being named after this giant and soldier of peace, we premise our ethos on peace and wish to broadcast to the world that we live by that creed.

As part of these festivities – the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro Municipality, wishes to memorialise our beloved Madiba, by hosting a table of hope, convergence wherein a lecture will be delivered dedicated to his memory and breathing his legacy.

Table of Hope that will be celebrating the vision of peace and the legacy of former President Nelson Mandela by exhibiting local talent to the nation and the world – through the exposition of arts, culture and heritage.

The inaugural Mandela Bay Festival Table of Hope and Memorial Lecture, wishes to celebrate Madiba and in subsequent years – all the champions of peace who were inspired by uTata to share the vision of achieving a lasting and common destiny – through peace and dialogue. The metro continuous to inspire!
The Memorial Lecture and Table Of Hope Event will take place on the 29 of July 2016 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium and guests from national and international stature are expected.
