Poor maintenance of a cycling track at Port Elizabeth’s Chevrolet Stadium is hindering Cycling South Africa’s transformation agenda. Over 60 young cyclists from disadvantaged areas in city are affected. Cycling South Africa say they were promised 500-thousand rand to upgrade the facility by the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality in 2016. To date they haven’t received a cent.
