Join Port Elizabeth and MyPE in congratulating Mover and Shaker, Neil Barker from Burmeister De Lange and Soni Attorneys:
Neil Barker was appointed the new anchor morning presenter on Bay FM on Friday.
Neil is a vibrant and ambitious Port Elizabeth born entrepreneur, Rotarian and philanthropist who truly has a big heart for business and his city. He has the uncanny ability to mobilise those around him to work for a worthy cause.
He studied for his LLB at NMMU and is currently working in the conveyancing department at Burmeister De Lange and Soni Attorneys during the week. Barker has managed to truly set himself apart during the past couple of years in the property sector in Port Elizabeth. He has presented to the property market on various legal topics such as the Consumer Protection Act and FICA and continues to be amongst the first to tackle any new legal topic that will bring change to our lives.
Neil has founded two companies and currently sits as a Director of both NW Barker – an advertising company and Barker Corp an IT company based in Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
Neil is a sought after consultant in South Africa who consults for several national companies.
You will soon be able to catch Neil on a weekend TV Show on DSTV.
However Neil is a breakfast presenter at Bay FM during the week before he jumps into his legal suit.
What truly gives Neil his purpose is his love for his community and his city, and in giving back, this young Rotarian has hosted events and have been directly involved with numerous charities such as Animal Welfare Port Elizabeth, Quad House and many more. Neil is also a Top 15 finalist for Die Burger Boardwalk Mr PORT ELIZABETH 2013
Neil believes in the words of Ghandi “. . . that we must be the change we want to see.”
