Navigating the Shifting Sands of Social Media and Nailing Those Sales – MyPR.co.za

21 June 2020 By Port Elizabethan

Navigating the Shifting Sands of Social Media and Nailing Those Sales:

For the longest time I have preached the following:

  1. If you have valuable unique content, post it in YOUR SPACE first – by YOUR SPACE I mean on your web site, one that you control and pay for.
  2. THEN use Social Media as your classified advert to notify people of new and interesting content
  3. In that way you are controlling your narrative AND ensuring longevity should your Social Media Channels die or squeeze you into paying.
Great Web site offer from Reach Trust to Tradesmen – benefit from our years of expertise at nailing online sales by clicking on this logo.

Like investing your money or even income streams these days – total reliance on only one vehicle could be devastating.

In order to effectively sell your service or product you have to lead people to a space that you control, one that doesn’t have other adverts and attractions that distract people from making a decision, a space that is safe and encouraging enough to get people to reach out so that you can TALK to them. Think about this; “As a tradesman your success is dependent upon getting on site, making an assessment and giving a quote.” As a practical person you can best help your client by talking to them on site so you have to have a mechanism that makes it easy for your prospective client who now ONLY does research online to REACH out to you for advice on solving their problem.

Your landing page has to offer your visitors an easy way to make a decision and contact you with the minimum of fuss.

One example of this is a simple technique that I use when people are looking to get advice on Solar Installations – THIS simple form allows me to gather Name, Address, Telephone Number and the promise of a call back to the visitor.

Look at the Straton Solar form and tell me what information I have deliberately left out gathering and why?

Three last things:

  1. If you do a Google Search for Straton Solar you will see that nearly all of the first page results refer to web sites under our control that support the sales message.
  2. Let Reach Trust get you started on this journey and click here – http://trades.co.za/rates – to see our special offer.
  3. We also use MyPR Featured Press Releases as a way of driving prospective clients to our web site/s as they allow us to leave relevant links to our space for more detailed information.

Our Special Offer of R475.00 per month (Trades ONLY) gets you:

  1. Registration of a domain (in YOUR name);
  2. Installation of WordPress (WP);
  3. Installation of WP Plugins;
  4. Re-design of selected template/s to client specifications, colour, logo and background;
  5. Installation and annual licensing of the Gravity Forms contact form;
  6. Monthly Hosting;
  7. Monthly WordPress Maintenance and Upgrades;
  8. 30 minutes per month consultation (non cumulative) on posting of articles and images, SEO advice and online marketing advice;
  9. Email Setup;
  10. Exposure in our Business Directory;
  11. Analytics Setup;
  12. 10 Gigabytes of Web Site Space;
  13. 10 Email Accounts EACH with 10 Gigabytes of space;
  14. 50 Gigabytes of Bandwidth;
  15. CDN Network;
  16. SSL Certificate;
  17. Dedicated specialised WordPress hosting.
  18. Set and forget about the back end maintenance.

If you had to order and pay for each of the above individually you can expect to pay over R12000 upfront and around R600.00 per month in ongoing fees.
