Supporters of the Chevrolet Warriors would have noticed a couple of new faces on the field since the launch of the Ram Slam T20 series, which kicked off in Cape Town last Sunday.
The Chevrolet Warriors are excited to welcome their brand new mascot to the team, a character of “warrior” proportions, who will be seen around both home fields in the upcoming seasons. Supporters in Cape Town, and East London have already had the chance to meet and get their picture taken with him, and Port Elizabethans will have the opportunity at tomorrow’s Ram Slam T20 game which will take place at Axxess St George’s from 18h00.
The Warriors are allowing their supporters the chance to put on their creative caps to name the mascot, who will make appearances at the home matches. The competition will kick off from tomorrow (Saturday, 11 January) and run until Tuesday 14th January. To enter the competition, simply SMS you name and surname along with your suggested name for the Warriors Mascot to the number below, and a shortlist of names will be put out for public vote on the team’s official Facebook page. The winner of the competition will get a season ticket for next season and a wonderful Chevrolet Warriors hamper.
