So, on Monday we will have hordes of little girls, accompanied by hordes of not so little girls waiting expectantly for a card in the post, a small gift under her pillow, a special romantic dinner or just a passionate kiss. Of course the real men will try, but fail, to show that they don’t actually give a hoot. Everyone needs some loving.
Tonight the Longhair and I will be popping off to see Crazy in Love at the Savoy – in preparation for ‘just another Valentines Day’.
On Saturday evening TwoTone music is presenting Shall We Dance in honour of Valentines Day and will be accompanied by the MBSWO.
This Valentines weekend, the Summerstrand Village Shopping Centre is spreading the love to their customers. Shoppers can have their photo taken with loved one’s in the Centre’s one of a kind Foto First photo booth. Loving couples stand a chance of winning a prize worth R5 500.00 at a cost of R25.00 when they enter the Most Deserving Couple competition.
The prize includes a one night stay at the five star Kwantu Game Reserve and Afri-Save Cash and Carry vouchers.
How to enter: Take a photo at Summerstrand Village Shopping Centre from 10 to 12 February between 12:00 and 2:00 pm or on Sunday 13 February from 10:00 to 12:00 pm and pop it in to the entry box.
For more information contact centre management at 041 583 4052 or send an e-mail to Summerstrand[at]broll.co.za.
“The idea is to create a feeling of love and friendship in the centre by allowing young and old to come and take fun and quirky photos that could reward the most deserving couple with a romantic get away,” said Miss Charne Blume, marketing assistant.
