Former anti-aparthied campaigner Mkhuseli Jack last week launched the Abantu Integrity Movement in Gqeberha.
He describes the movement as a pressure group advocating for good governance and delivery of services to residents of the Nelson Mandela Bay metro. The movement seeks to pull the metro from years of political instability, which have seen five mayors in charge since the 2016 local government elections.
Driven by residents, it intends contesting this year’s local government elections. For more on this, Newzroom Afrika chats to Mkhuseli Jack who joined Ayanda Nyathi via video link from Gqeberha.
