Mimi Rupp, South Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business & Government, within the SME sector

Join Port Elizabeth and MyPE in congratulating Mover and Shaker, Mimi Rupp from Stone etc.:

Port Elizabeth businesswoman and philanthropist, Mimi Rupp, was named South Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government in the SMEs sector.

An initiative of CEO Magazine, Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government, is a platform to celebrate the achievements of women and their contributions to the economy and communities across Africa.

On her recognition Mimi says: “I love what I do, both in business and in my charity work, and I do it with love. Whether it’s making a difference to someone’s living space, or making a difference to a other people’s lives.

“To have been nominated was touching, but to win is something very special to me. I hope my achievement as an entrepreneur will inspire other women, and hope to see some young faces at the awards next year. We have such an entrepreneurial spirit in South Africa, and some wonderful business women – and they need to be encouraged and celebrated.”

Mimi is a partner in Smartstone Port Elizabeth (the oldest cast stone manufacturer in South Africa) and Stone etc., and is also a member of the board for Khayalethu Youth Centre.
