Metro Police – Who is the Pot and who is the Kettle?

The opposition party in Nelson Mandela Bay, the ANC, delivered a petition to the new government on 1 December citing 13 ‘areas of concern’.

Here Nelson Mandela Bay Mayor Athol Trollip responds to allegations by the opposition that “….it remains to be seen [the new Metro Police Chief] if she will make any meaningful impact”

Trollip said that the new Metro Police Chief, Yolanda Faro was previously the Acting Metro Police Chief of the most effective Metro Police Force in the country. “Watch this space for continued innovation and improvement towards creating a safe city,” concluded Trollip.
