Mbambisa criminal investigation commences

The criminal investigation into former city manager, Mpilo Mbambisa’s financial misconduct has begun.

the DA has been provided with a SAPS CAS number and an investigating officer has been assigned to the case.

I will continue to work with the SAPS to ensure that all criminal charges are fully investigated, and handed over for prosecution.

The DA will defend our Constitution and the rule of law by ensuring that all those implicated in corrupt or fraudulent activities are brought to book, as we have done in the Mbambisa case.

In a fair society, those who break the law must face consequences and should certainly not be given million-rand golden handshakes.

While Mayor Jordaan’s ANC pays out millions to corruption suspects, the DA will instead work tirelessly to send corrupt officials to jail.

The DA is set on winning Nelson Mandela Bay at next year’s elections so that corruption is rooted out once and for all, and so that Nelson Mandela Bay can start service delivery for all.
