
Singer, songwriter and self taught guitar player who has released music with two singles currently playlisted on radio stations. His popular singles ‘Akasemhle’ and ‘Ndim Nawe’are a crowd favourite.
Lwazi ‘Mo’ Mahashe Nelson Mandela Bay through hard work and dedication he is constantly honing his skills and has been fortunate enough to have worked with some of the Bay’s musicians and from throughout South Africa, talents such as multi – talented musician and producer Bongani ‘Kora X’ Tulwana; Umle & Arthur Mofokate to name but a few. The current title holder of the South African Arts Development Association (SAADA) has also gone on to share the stage with Ishmael; Mzambiya & CiCi.
Not only a musician, Mo Mahashe was cast as one of the lead actors in the feature film ‘Soul Ties’and has been cast in adverts. He is also a cameraman for local television programme Vision for Women.
Jazz’Afro Sundays @ The Barn will be taking a break and will be back on the 14th of April for another thrilling live performance by one of Nelson Mandela Bay’s talented acts.
On 10 March 2019 Lwazi ‘Mo’ Mahashe will play at The Barn Theatre, PE Opera House from 17h00. Admission is R70.00 (R50.00 Pensioners) – limited seating be sure to be early
