The open-plan lounge leads out onto a private veranda, indigenous garden and swimming pool, which invites you to cool off during a hot summer’s day. Outdoors you can enjoy fabulous braai/barbecue on a cool summer evening, or dine al fresco under the stars.
Long Hope is home to the Big 5, over 300 bird species and offers guests a variety of activities. Your private guide is on hand throughout the day to ensure you have a truly memorable experience.
Activities at the villa are tailored to suit your interests and schedule; they include morning and evening game drives, wine tasting, photography classes, picnics, and pampering treatments.

Game viewing is done in custom built open game viewers. These are conducted on both our private 14000ha Nyathi concession and the original part of the Addo Elephant National Park.
We have a salon on the property offering massages, manicures and pedicures.
For the kids there is a mini-rangers programme, baking with the chef, a selection of DVDs, spa treatments and mobile playrooms for the little ones.
We pledge to implement a high standard of hygiene and cleaning protocols to ensure the safest environment possible for our guests.

Addo is synonymous with the Elephant Park held within its borders. A small town located in the Sarah Baartman region of the Eastern Cape about an hours drive away from Gqeberha. Addo has many great features to it independent of the famed and gracious elephants.
The Sundays River snakes its way through the area providing water sport opportunities, with the Zuurberg Mountains that surround Addo providing hiking and horse riding trails. The bird life here is spectacular with a good variety of birds sighted.
The neighbouring Addo Elephant National Park (as part of the South African National Parks Board) is what draws thousands of visitors from all over the world. The Park boasts as South Africa’s “Big Seven” as it now includes the Southern Right Whale and great white shark since the Park extends to the sea and nearby islands.
Addo has many historical sites which date back as far as 1829.
