- The respondents thus far were from Humewod, Summerstrand, Walmer and Schoenmakerskop
Some of the comments left were:
- The guests that stayed with me where so polite and a real pleasure to have stay.
- I had a navy man staying at my B&B on 2 separate occasions last year, as he was part of the planning process. I didn’t have anyone related to the Armed Forces day staying with me during the week, as my establishment was already fully booked by overseas guests.
- AWESOME EXPERIENCE
- The extended road closures and resultant traffic congestion was a huge problem for all of us in Summerstrand. When it is one day as with Iron Man, not a problem but when it is for four consecutive days it becomes a nightmare. We got our housekeepers to sleep over so we lost a room night on Saturday.
- Not sure if the vast amount spent by the SANDF to put on this show could not have been better utilized on one of the many problem areas currently in South Africa. It would be great if it could be know what the bottom-line cost figure on this exercise was.
- It was a great event and I think we did us proud. Would be excellent to have more events like this.
