Kariega detectives searching for next of kin – SAPS Crime Report: 2021-12-29 17:35:58

KARIEGA – The South African Police Service in Kariega are urgently seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of an unidentified male. 

The decomposed body of an unidentified male was discovered by a community member, lying in the bushes behind Gerald Smith, Kamesh at about 12:30 on Wednesday, 24 November 2021.  The deceased is believed to be in his fifties and was clad in a pair of black trousers, brown top and green t-shirt.  He is of slender build and approximately 1,7m tall.  An inquest docket was opened and under investigation.             

Anyone who might be looking for a relative or who might be able to assist with information that can lead police to his next of kin, or the identity of the deceased, is requested to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Deon Roos on 079 896 8148, SAPS Crime Stop 08600 10111 or contact the nearest police station.
