Juanita du Plessis celebrates two decades of music

Award winning songstress Juanita du Plessis ventures to The Bay to celebrate two decades of music with her local fans this summer. The uber talented du Plessis perform a one-night-only show at The Boardwalk Amphitheatre on 22 November 2019. She will treat her audience to some of her most memorable songs featured on her anniversary album, 20 Jaar Treffers.

The album is jam packed with Juanita’s top songs from the last decade including “Dankie Vir Jou Liefde”, “Gaan Groot!”, “Kies Jou Weer”, “Hambamba”, “Toe Staan Die Wêreld Stil”, “Engel Van My Hart’ and “Onthou My”, amongst many more.

Adored by her fans in South Africa and Namibia, from where she hails, du Plessis is a platinum-selling artist whose Afrikaans pop and gospel music has earned her numerous awards over the years. She has a captivating stage presence, exceptional voice and an approachableness that makes her shows unforgettable. In 2012, she was the first artists in South African music history to sell more than two million albums.

“We are thrilled to welcome Juanita back to our stage next month. This concert promises to be extra special as she performs some of her best loved songs, spanning her 20 year music career. Her previous shows at The Boardwalk have always sold out. Fans are encouraged to book their tickets sooner rather than later in order to avoid disappointment,” says Nqobile Qupe, Marketing Manager at The Boardwalk.
