The Port Elizabeth wind blows in – Larry King wannabe Everton Hansen, race-horse enthusiast Theo Scholtz, seafood allergic Claerwen Hart and lastly, people-person Trish Difford. And off they go in the next episode of Come Dine with Me SA. It will air on Monday, 18 November at 20:00 on BBC Entertainment, channel 120 on DStv.
First to host is Hansen, more a nightlife aficionado than a cook, quickly revealed by his unoriginal menu. Joker Scholtz presents an unusual gift, and the evening ends with an awkward twerking session, where bootie-shaking, unlike the lamb, is not very well done.
Dinner party number two falls to picky eater Hart to host, and she wows her guests with an evening to remember. There’s debauchery, alcohol, chocolate body shots, and a rather shocking confession. In the end no-one wants taxis, they just want to stay.
Scholtz’s night features missing knives, spoons, and sometimes plates, and he desperately hopes that his cooking will do the talking. The options include springbok or steak, but whichever way his guests swing, no-one is tempted by Difford’s risqué offer.
The final night is Difford’s to host, and while her guests struggle to keep track of her multiple personalities, they can all spot a badly stuck-on moustache when they see one. There’s tequila, guacamole, sombreros and the works, but will it be enough?
A wild bucking bronco week in Port Elizabeth ends and with a race this close, the winning title could be anyone’s.
