Holiday Banking Hours Extended

During the festive season, selected Absa branches located in shopping malls nationwide will have their operating hours extended. This will also include Sunday banking to accommodate predicted increase in seasonal demand for financial services and offer convenience to customers over this period.

This year’s extended services at select branches will commence today, Friday 12 December 2014, and will remain in place until 11 January 2015.

Saturday banking at selected branches, particularly at high volume malls, have been changed from 08:30 to 14:00, instead of the normal 08:00 to 11:00 trading hours.

On Sundays, certain Absa branches will be open from 9:00 to 13:00 throughout the period to align with the respective mall activities in the regions.

Customers who prefer staying away from the crowded shopping malls over this period, can continue to make use of our self-service and online banking channels, offering banking services that are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
