You are kindly invited to an organ recital on the impressive organ of the Feather Market Centre on Thursday 9th August at 13:00 by the brilliant international concert organist from Hungary, Laszlo Almasy. He is organist in the Budapest Cathedral and has presented organ recitals in more than 20 countries. Since this recital is on a school holiday – Women’s Day – we expect many persons (especially teachers) who normally cannot attend lunch hour recitals.
His varied programme lasting 50 minutes, will consist of compositions by four Hungarian composers (including two brilliant organ toccatas) and the monumental Romantic organ piece by Franz Liszt, Ad nos ad salutarem undam. Another interesting work will be the Variations on the Hungarian National Anthem.
Admission is only R 35 and for pensioners R 30.
Entrance free for scholars and students.
