As you wake up to face another day in the Friendly City do spare a thought for the Longhair and I who are ‘slumming it’ here: Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve.
The Oceana Beach & Wildlife Reserve on the East London side of Port Alfred offers ultra-luxurious accommodation that includes a select group of unique guest suites in the Ocean Lodge and Private Ocean House as well as spectacular individual private chalets. The Africa-shaped knife-edge pool has a marked point that you can rest your chin on, that is the absolute centre of Oceana.
The maternal unit has spent time there and raves about it to this day.
Owner of the Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve, Rip Miller says; “After traveling the world, I discovered the place closest to my heart, Oceana. The first time I beheld the collection of natural wonders, something extraordinary happened – as I embraced the expanse of its exotic beauty, it embraced me.”
Part of the Mantis Collection, Oceana offers accommodation in Lodge or Ocean Suites or the Ocean House.
Later on today we are proceeding to another jewel on the Wild Coast – Miarestate Hotel & Spa.
