Get Your Primary School Involved in EP Mini Cricket

By

The Eastern Province Mini Cricket Committee together with the Eastern Province Amateur Cricket Department will be hosting the Eastern Province Mini Cricket Seminar at Axxess St. George’s on Thursday 04 August 2011 starting at 09H00

The purpose of the seminar is to evaluate the resolutions taken in 2010 some of which entails growing mini cricket participation and support, marketing of the game and to craft a new way forward for 2011 Mini Cricket Programmes.

More than hundred delegates from in and around the Province will participate. The Seminar will be honoured with the presence of the CSA and KFC delegation headed by David Mokopanele, Matthew Ellenbogen, and Eastern Province Manco Members

“KFC Mini Cricket is an integral part of Eastern Province Amateur Cricket, it forms the base on which quality cricketers are produced. Cricketers like Wayne Parnell, Johan Botha and Lonwabo Tsotsobe started their cricket careers by playing mini cricket. With the quality of administrators administering this programme I have no doubt that more cricketers will be produced. May I also take this opportunity to wish all those who will be participating in this year’s seminar a very productive and pleasant seminar” said the E.P Mini Cricket Coordinator Mercia Baatjies.

Any primary school who wishes to participate in this programme should contact Mercia Baatjies at Eastern Province Amateur Cricket offices on 041 506 6612.
