Shoppers at Walmer Shopping Centre in Port Elizabeth can now have a little Rain this Spring! Leading Bath & body product company, Rain, is opening a new shop on 1 October 2016 situated at Shop 109, close to Woolworths. This new addition will be the 17th Rain shop to see the light in South Africa, with 3 in the USA and one opening in Ireland within the next month.
Rain offers natural skincare products made from wild harvested ingredients that captures the goodness of Mother Nature in a refined elegance. With eight ranges, Rain will whet anyone’s appetite for a little pampering. Their baby range is as gentle as spring rain and contains no parabens, no SLES’s, no synthetic perfumes or any mineral oils, while the Wild Cotton range is a firm favourite with its clean fresh linen fragrance. Men are not forgotten, and the African Rain Range of products reminds of the stormy clash of two oceans at the southernmost point of Africa.
Rain is more than just a skincare company. Rain Africa is a proudly South African company situated in Swellendam and is one of the few companies in the international beauty industry that is both Fair Trade and Beauty without Cruelty accredited. For those who don’t know, Fair Trade is… Companies that are Fair Trade members, act according to fair and ethical practices, empower their workers and communities, and care for their environment. As part of Rain’s commitment to giving back, they embody the 10 principles of Fair Trade in creating sustainable job opportunities for marginalized suppliers, empowering their staff through upliftment and skills training; and creating friendly and caring work environments. So much so that their workers start each day with a song! Visit youtube and watch them sing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fts6lMWCnb0 (Rain Factory loves to sing).
