Free Port Elizabeth Concert

The Nelson Mandela Bay International Music Festival free concert takes place today, Friday 13 May at the Vuyisile Mini (formerly Market) Square in front of the City Hall from 17h00 and ending at 23h00.

There are 10 items on this tonight’s free programme:

  • MC Introduction (expect electioneering, bring ear plugs)
  • Down by Law
  • 4 x DJ Spots
  • Mojazz
  • Belinda Davids
  • Hugh Masekela and
  • Goldfish

The main Nelson Mandela Bay International Music Festival takes place on Saturday 14 May and Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism (NMBT) is feeling the excitement. The tourism organisation is using the event as a team-building initiative and has bought their entire staff contingent of 44, tickets to the concert which will feature legends George Benson and Hugh Masekela and other South African music stars like Feya Faku, Freshlyground, Goldfish, Prime Circle and Loyiso Bala.

Entrance to the event at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is from 2:00 pm on Saturday.
