Free Business Communication Workshop

Propella incubatees and other business owners are invited to attend a free business communication workshop at the Propella Business Incubator in Humerail.

“This month Propella will be hosting a series of workshops ranging from Fundamentals of BEE, Contracts Made Easy and Tendering as part of our contribution to supporting entrepreneurs in Port Elizabeth,” says Ellen Fischat, business support manager at Propella.

All entrepreneurs in the region are welcome to attend the workshop, which will be presented by Lynn van Vuuren on Wednesday, March 2.

“Many entrepreneurs of SMMEs do not understanding how to pitch themselves and therefore they address prospective clients ineffectively,” says van Vuuren.

Creating a first impression, using your body language effectively, explaining how to address different personalities, how to research prospective clients and creating an online presence are a few topics that will be covered in the workshop.

Van Vuuren has her diploma in Public Relations and Journalism from Damelin in 2000, a diploma in Journalism from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2007 and runs her own community newspaper and Events Company called Your Money.
