Flamboyance? More like Cuteness Personified.
On Thursday evening we popped along to the Opera House to catch the final dress rehearsals for Flamboyance by Candice Johnstone Dance Academy – thanks for the virgin, ‘not so virgin’ pink drinks and superb Turkish delight, Carol-Anne.
One can see that the dancers have put a lot of effort into their routines – especially the tiny tots who exuded exuberance, happiness, fun and high levels of CUTE as they go through their fun dance moves.
My personal favourite routine was one entitled, “Amanzi” AND, of course, all of the routines that showcased any move by the little tots.
Flamboyance is on at the Opera House on 8 June from 19h30, with two more shows on Saturday at 14h30 and 19h30. Not to be missed. – Taken by the Editor whilst wandering aimlessly about pretending to be in the know.
