With reference to the fault below as reported on 1 December 2021: The Municipality were swift and efficient and covered the hole – questions may be asked whether the method used was the appropriate one as the latest image (below) show that the municipality has concreted the cover instead of installing a metal cover to allow stormwater to enter the drain!
On 01/12/2021 Alan Straton reported a fault in Ward 7 at 285 Kempston Road, Sidwell.

Storm Water drain cover missing on Kempston Road outside the old FNB – this drain has been repaired many times many people have suffered ‘injury’ – with many blow outs on vehicles.
