1 July 2016 By Alan Straton

EP Kings Currie Cup Head Coach, Robbi Kempson, has announced his team to take on Griquas in the curtain raiser at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

Up front, Liam Hendricks makes way for David Murray at loosehead, alongside hooker Warrick Venter who retains his position. Tighthead prop goes to Vukile Sofisa, who comes up in place of Louis Albertse.

Cornell Hess comes up from the bench to rejoin partner Tazz Fuzani on lock, while Sintu Manjezi, who will again captain the side, moves to flank alongside SF Nieuwoudt. Nieuwoudt rotates with JP Jonck, who is on the bench this game.

Garrick Mattheus also comes up from the bench to flyhalf in place of Courtney Winnaar, while Jixie Molapo comes on at wing for Yaw Penxe and Jaco van Tonder replaces Michael Brink at fullback.

The Team: 15. Jaco van Tonder, 14. Jixie Molapo, 13. Somila Jho, 12. JP du Plessis, 11. Lindelwe Zungu, 10. Garrick Mattheus, 9. Rouche Nel, 8. Lusanda Badiyana, 7. Sintu Manjezi, 6. SF Nieuwoudt, 5.
